YU, a recently married, 28-year-old teacher, suddenly learns her mother has died in a hit-and-run car accident. After the tragedy, Yu meets her mother’s Buddhist friends and begins to be influenced by their beliefs and practices. As the police are not actively investigating the case, Yu starts to distribute leaflets to find eyewitnesses and identify the driver. His lawyer proposes financial compensation to settle the case. Yu refuses, determined to meet CHANG face to face and get justice. She believes more and more that she can find truth in Buddhism.
